• I have wanted this book for quite a while and now I was able to get it at a very good price. And it's in great condition (as promised)! As for the content, the photos are beautiful and capture the deliciousness of the food and the spirit of Italy. I lived in Florence for about a year, so Rocco's recipes bring me back to that time when you cooked with whatever was in season. This book makes me miss the TV show (which made me miss Florence). If you don't already own this book, get it today for a slice of la dolce vita!
• I gave this cookbook to my husand as a birthday gift.
  It is all that I expected and more. David's recipes
  are all "doable" and enticing. Even if you have not
  been to Italy, his comments about the food, people,
  culture and the country itself are educational.
  Looking at the beautiful pictures makes you feel
  transported back to this amazing country.
  I also purchased the fun CD of music from David's
  television show. I was surprised to find it came
  with it's own smaller picture cookbook, an added bonus!
  Both make wonderful gifts that the giver can enjoy as well!
  I highly recommend both.
• David's Dolce Vita cookbook is phenomenal. The layout is spectacular, and the photography is vivido. Amazing recipes. Lots of love put into this cookbook, and David's voice is apparent throughout the book. The cookbook feels like a high school yearbook, you just want to show it to all your friends, and go through it continuously. The recipes are easy to follow, and are well described. It has the recipes from the show and much, much more. Not only can you use it as a cookbook, but it definitely could also be used as a coffee table book because it takes you through Italy. Great Buy. Buon appetito!
• i bought this cookbook after becoming hooked on the david rocco dolce vita cooking show, it is so addicting! the cookbook stands alone or as a supplement to the show. beautifully photographed and the recipes have been easy to reproduce. i enjoy the way david rocco writes his recipes and has sections describing his life in italy. has a bit of a memoir aspect to it. i highly recommend this book for both it's recipes and the gorgeous style it was written in. love it!!
• This book is much bigger than I thought it was going to be! I love cook books that have pictures so that I have some idea of what my food is suppose to look like. David Rocco's Dolce Vita has large vividly colored images that make your mouth water as you thumb through it. The recipes are almost exactly what he cooks on his show and even some of his descriptions are word for word things he has said on the show. If you like his show you will love the book!
• If you were a fan of the show, you will love the stories and recipes in this book. Well worth it.
• I try to never miss David Rocco's TV show because he makes everything look so easy and simple. This cookbook has a lot of the recipes that were in the first couple of seasons. It's so much easier to see them written down instead of trying to recreate them from just watching the show. Also, David's notes about "La Dolce Vita" help me to live a sweeter life....even here in the US.
• Beautiful photography and some of the recipes were a little more challenging which I liked. It is well organized and I especially appreciated the antipasti and side dishes. I usually can come up with a main course but get stuck with the "other stuff."
